Gluten-Free Rolo Pretzel Sandwiches
Apart from putting the pretzels into the oven, your little one can do every step of this recipe. They'll especially enjoy dunking them in chocolate and sprinkles! Feel free to swap out the Rolos for any other gluten-free chocolate you like. I love the combination of salty chocolate and caramel, but you could use anything at all.
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 180c/350f.
- Arrange 24 pretels on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, foil or silicone.
- Place one Rolo candy on each pretzel and bake in the oven for 1 to 2 minutes until the Rolos have just started to soften.
- Top each each Rolo with another pretzel-avoid pressing down too much or the caramel will ooze out.
- Allow the pretzel sandwiches to cool for about 30 minutes.
- If you wish, you can dunk them in melted chocolate and cover with sprinkles or you can leave them plain.
