Smoothies are fantastic ways to inject some healthy fruit and veg into your life. The idea for this smoothie came when I was reminiscing about lime sherbet--you know that classic punch served at every wedding in America? That's what this tastes like, but without the unhealthy sherbet! It's also a great way to use up some leftover fruits before they go off.Ingredients:
For the smoothie1 pineapple, cut into chunks
1 lime, juiced
2 kiwis, peeled and sliced
2 cups orange juice
ice
Tropical Smoothie
Instructions:
- Place the ice in a blender and crush.
- Add the pineapple, lime juice, kiwis and pulse.
- Add the orange juice and mix well.
- Serve garnished with a lime wedge and pineapple chunk.
