As summer draws to a close, I find myself spending as much time as possible in the garden, in a last ditch attempt to soak up as much sun as I can. I know that after the refreshing chilly weather of autumn with its mosaic of crimson and amber leaves, the cold will come with a vengeance. Daylight will begin to fade from the sky around 3:30 and within the hour, it will all be a thick blanket of ink.
But before I surrender to down jackets, Merino scarves and snow boots, I'm spending every chance I can get frolicking in the sunshine. And what better way to enjoy a balmy, sun-soaked day than with a little garden party? The space behind our flat that we call a garden is not really a garden. It's a fenced isosceles of paving slabs and overgrown creeping vines, parallel to one of Manchester's busiest roads.  Even with its shocking lack of grass, our "garden" space remains a lovely area from which to enjoy rare blue skies.

  2. I have gone to two events here and both were super fun! I think the layout of the place makes perfect sense. It's much bigger than most venues, but not too big either.
